We have sewn in a centre seam that will hold the wheat in place on this Large size WheatyBags® but also this acts as a crease if you wanted to fold the pack in half. Some people wanted heat for the hands while resting on an arm of the sofa and this new crease would allow you to sandwich the hands for example between the lovely warmth of the pack.

Heat loss During Testing

When heated to the recommended guidelines (at 1000w), we tested the product fully and found the following:

• The Large hot pack reached a maximum 48 degrees which is a mild and comfortable warmth.
• That it retained a useful heat for an hour depending on the conditions of use.
• After 1 heating cycle and 1 hour of continual use, this microwave heat pack had only lost 21% of its peak temperature heat which we consider a good length of time.
